Smaller Adventures

It's been quite a while since I posted to this blog, but I think the time is returning when there will be more tales to add.

The past summer was a time of rediscovery for me. I have not been on proper little motorbike ventures for far too long. There have been some trips away of course, but short jaunts with very definite purposes. There was a trip to the Isle of Man TT on my old TRX850 and numerous weekends camping at festivals where my Triumph Speed Triple was the means of transport, but nothing with a touring or exploring element. The summer of 2015 changed that.

For reasons too convoluted to explain, my sister in law decided to celebrate her birthday in Sardinia. As soon as she announced that was to be the case, my brain immediately went into 'bike tour' mode. I had decided that I would go there on my Speed Triple before I even realised it. The next post will be full of information on the trip, but in the meantime, some photos . . .
